After a memorable sing off with the gorgeous Cheryl Cole (nee Tweedy) Cheryl won by a small margin to win her place in Girls Aloud. Emma, along with 3 of the other finalists, (Aimee, Lynsey and Chloe) went on to form girl band Clea and enjoyed some success in the UK, (4 top 40 sales singles) and were licensed on to 22 territories abroad. The next 4 years were spent touring and promoting around the world. Germany, Scandinavia, The Netherlands, China, Hong Kong, Thailand and others.When Clea finally split in 2006 Emma and Aimee from the band formed the critically acclaimed Loveshy. They went on to have a number one club single with 'AM to PM' and reached the final 6 in BBC 1's Eurovision: Your Decision before calling it a day in the summer of 2008.Emma is currently writing and recording for her solo album under the artist name 'Soraya' - which infact is her real name. The album will be Pop with a twist and fans of Clea and Loveshy will not be disappointed.In the meantime Emma (Soraya) finished a respectable third place in ITV 2's Paris Hiltons British Best Friend in the Spring of 2009. Emma describes the show as 'one of the best experiences of my life' which is high praise for someone who has already seen and experienced so much so far.With a solo album, modelling assignments and TV work, the future looks incredibly bright for Emma and you can expect to see and hear much more of her in the very near future.
